Smaller Group Discount
Although Hurstone sleeps up to 16 including the annexe, we often get enquiries from smaller groups, so we offer a 5% discount for 10 guests or less, as long as you book direct with us.
You can still use as many of the bedrooms as you like – you might all want an ensuite room, or you might want a mix of single and double beds, it’s up to you. You still have exclusive use of the entire house, so the games room, the hot tub, the garden and the adjacent paddock are all yours.
So, whether it’s a multi-generational family celebration, a happy reunion with friends you haven’t caught up with in ages, a walking break with your favourite bunch of hikers, or a relaxing ladies weekend, if there’s 10 or less of you, grab that discount and enjoy your stay at this gorgeous old house for less.

Does the smaller group discount apply all year round?
Yes, the smaller group discount does apply year round, but it cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer we might be running, such as our late availability Special Offers.
Does the smaller group discount apply to all stays?
Yes, the smaller group discount does apply to all stays. We do 3 night weekends Thursday to Sunday or Friday to Monday, or 4 night breaks Thursday to Monday. As long as there’s no more than 10 of you, the discount applies – it’s essentially a reduced occupancy rate.
Are babies and toddlers included in the number of guests?
That’s a good question! Toddlers over the age of 2 years are included in the number of guests. 2 infants under that age are not included in the count, so for example, your group could include 6 adults, 4 children aged 3-10, and 2 infants under the age of 2. We even provide 2 full size cots and 2 highchairs, leaving you more room in your boot for your luggage.
Will some of the bedrooms be locked to smaller groups?
No, we don’t lock any of the bedrooms nor any rooms in the house for smaller groups. That way you can choose if you all want ensuite bedrooms, or if you want double, twin or single beds.
Can we book the annexe if we have the smaller group discount?
Yes, you can book the annexe if you wish, but there is an extra charge for this. It isn’t included in the smaller group discount.
Is Hurstone pet friendly?
Yes, Hurstone is pet friendly. We allow 1 well behaved dog and provide a welcome pack that includes poo bags (just in case you forget!). We also supply dog towels and blankets. All we ask in return is that you stick to our Dog Rules.
